The Diversity of Spain’s Attention-Grabbing Culture
Spain brags for the presence of some of the most diverse types of cultures and landscapes in the world; this cultural and geographic assortment serves as a selling point for Spain’s tourism. From skiing to going to museums, to sunbathing at the beach, Spain has something for everyone to do. Spain is also geographically situated in the manner that even the weather seems to be very diverse and varied; this is good for people who want to go on a vacation and not adjust too much to the climate.
Spain has plenty of magnificent architectural creations that are famous all over the world for the vision with which they were crafted. A fine example is Frank Gehry’s buildings in Spain, particularly the world-famous Guggenheim Museum which is one of the earliest of its kind. Spain is also the safe haven for the outstanding creations like Prado Museum which is one of the museums with the most vast collection of art; the beautiful museum building was designed by Juan de Villanueva.
One other famous edifice or group of structures is the Parc Guell which was commissioned by an aristocrat named Eusebi Guell who is very much keen on building a space for all the aristocrats of Barcelona to stroll and spend time in. This park is somehow amazing because it is the harmonious mixture of the beauty of nature and man’s talents; Parc Guell is filled with architectural artwork that is both convincing and not interfering with nature’s beauty. The Guell Park looks like a marriage between the beauty of nature and the beauty of architecture; it contains many fascinating pieces of art made of tiles and stones and are integrated with the shape and silhouette of the land as well as the greenery inside the park.
There are also some sports activities that regularly adjusts because of the many varied weather conditions that people enjoy in Spain. If you’re into winter sports, you can go to the Sierra Navada Mountains where you can enjoy skiing and other related activities. All the while that the Prado Museum was being constructed, Carlos III had a vision for Madrid, that it would be the cradle of development and urbanization for Spain; this came true to a certain level because the Museum is now considered one of the biggest with the most extensive art collection among the Museums worldwide.
Many locals do know how to speak English so it’s not going to be a problem communicating with them, although it wouldn’t hurt to take some simpleSpanish with you prior to your arrival in Spain. Don’t be overly troubled about expensive online language training, there are very basic classes that could be availed without paying anything, such as Rocket Spanish courses. Rocket Spanish or Bust is a Computer Assisted Language Learning that can help you speak Spanish fluently. Find out the simple words use in asking for directions, asking for help, and other questions that you really should know how to ask, as well as other things you learn for fun, like haggling in the common marketplace.
Going on a vacation to Spain could be a nice reward for yourself, and since it’s one of the best tourist spots in the world, you’re bound to have so much fun. Make sure that you have a list of medication that you might need, phone numbers that you can call in case of emergencies, maps, itinerary, and similar things that are important for tourists.
